英国当地时间3月15日，2023索尼世界摄影赛（Sony World Photography Awards）各类奖项在伦敦揭晓。
加拿大华人摄影师周震寰（Steven Zhou）在运动摄影（Motion）组别中，成为唯一优胜者！
索尼世界摄影奖（Sony World Photography Awards）是世界上最具影响力的五大摄影比赛大奖之一，（荷赛、Sony奖、奥地利超级巡回赛、国家地理杂志摄影大赛、哈苏大师赛）；由于奥地利超级巡回赛因疫情今年停办，所以索尼世界摄影奖已成为目前规模和影响最大的世界摄影大赛。
周震寰2022年曾在索尼世界摄影奖运动摄影“Motion”组别中入围最终决赛。
他今年的这次获奖创造了Sony世界摄影奖历史的两个记录，首创运动摄影组别中连续两年入围，他也是该奖项迄今为止获优胜奖的唯一华人摄影师。
对于此次获奖， 周震寰说到：
2022年我首次参赛Sony奖就能入围，极大地增强了自己的信心；今年我是有备而来，最终入围作品竞争异常激烈，但我对自己的作品充满信心！
所以早前通知我的作品入围时，并不感到意外，但最终夺冠心中确实充满了惊喜。
但是，这还没完……，公开组的优胜者将于4月13日在伦敦颁奖典礼上揭晓。
自己依然还有机会获得那个至高无上的荣誉。都走到这一步了，我内心可是相当地期盼呢！
周震寰正儿八经地从事摄影艺术创作时间并不久，他2019年底才开始学习摄影后期，2020底开始，他便佳作不断。
从2021年中首次参加摄影比赛便获奖，到2022年荣获Monovisons黑白摄影大赛建筑类组图第一名，以及Sony奖入围组别决赛，再到今年获得Sony 奖运动组冠军，这三年三级跳见证了他在摄影艺术追求上的进步和付出。
像周震寰这样能在摄影艺术领域以如此速度创造佳绩的还真是少见。
不仅摄影艺术造诣颇高，周震寰还热心公益，经常满腔热忱地在各类社区活动中提供义工服务，并在华人摄影组织内给广大摄影爱好者点评作品、讲解摄影知识，为提高华人摄影水平做出了大量和长期的无私奉献。
