Bonnie’s Liberals: More Taxes for You
TORONTO, February 21, 2025 — Bonnie Crombie wasn’t able to recruit a full slate of candidates, but she did ensure the ones who are reluctantly running for her share her pro-tax ideology.
Bonnie’s candidate in Burlington could not be more clear in saying that “taxes are a good thing!”
Her candidate in Oxford said she was “absolutely comfortable” with Woodstock’s bigger-than-planned tax hike on residents.
Her candidate in Oakville supports every tax under the sun, including a wealth tax, an inheritance tax, and a citizenship tax.
These candidates were hand-picked by Bonnie because they want to do what she did every year when she was Mayor: raise taxes.
The difference between Doug Ford and the Ontario PCs and Bonnie Crombie’s Liberals could not be clearer.
There isn’t a tax the Liberals don’t like or a toll they don’t want to hike.
Unlike them, Doug Ford and the Ontario PCs have never and will never raise a tax on the backs of people and businesses.
