Conservatives Will Axe Taxes For All Canadians

Ottawa, ON — Under the Lost Liberal Decade, Canadians are paying the price of the Carney Liberals’ tax hikes. But while Canadian families are paying $10,000 more in taxes under the Liberals, rich insiders like Mark Carney exploit tax loopholes to stash their funds in offshore tax havens to avoid paying their fair share.
It’s time to end Carney’s two-tier tax system–one set of rules for the rich and one for everyone else–and deliver fairness for hard-working Canadians. That’s why Conservatives will level the playing field and axe taxes for everyone, not just rich elites.
It starts with cutting income taxes by 15 percent, saving the average worker $900 a year, and a two-income family up to $1,800 a year.
We will also axe the Liberals’ automatic annual tax hikes on alcohol, saving Canadians, restaurants, and producers $40 million next year.
We will bring in a Canada First Reinvestment Tax Cut to end the tax penalty on reinvestment in Canadian businesses. This will be rocket fuel for our economy, unlocking billions of dollars for homebuilding, tools, training, technology, manufacturing and small businesses.
We will bring in the Canada First TFSA Top-Up to increase the TFSA limit by $5,000 each year for investments that support Canadian business.
Canadians can’t afford a fourth Liberal term with costs and crime up and our economy down under America’s thumb. We need a new Conservative government that will axe taxes and lower the cost of living to put Canada First—For a Change.
